Ursula Schulz-Dornburg. Zone Green. The Land in between
by
IN Places
Ursula Schulz-Dornburg explores the relationship between the environment and the landscape. Often in social, political and cultural conflict. She highlights how power, conflict, time are disrupting and transforming the landscape. This major exhibition explores the photographic practice of Ursula Schulz-Dornburg. A practice crossed by three major themes: demarcations and borders, architecture and the environment as well as the human impact on the environment and landscapes.
Her work in Iraq, Mesopotamia, Syria and along the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan documents the history and impact of demarcations and borders, in natural or artificial way.
