Anna Olejarczyk. Returns. Mysia 3 Warsaw
Projekt Returns by Anna Olejarczyk (student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw) is the result of over two years of artistic and social work. The presented works are photographs made in precious techniques, measuring 1.4 x 2 m, which are one of the largest photographs in Poland made in this medium.
In connection with the artis’s own illness and experiences, the author meets people who have had similar experiences as her. Characters depicted in photographs are people who have had close contact with death and still remain in a certain suspension. The title Returns is associated with finding oneself in reality after receiving a second chance, when it is not uncommon to decide whether he can live as before. An informal community that is formed is usually people who do not stand out from the crowd, but with the daily development of their return.
During the vernissage, there will also be a short meeting with the Unicorn Association, which will present Simonton’s Therapy.
