POP AIR. An inflatable experience by Dana Caspersen and William Forsythe
William Forsythe, American choreographer artist invests the place – at La Villette – with his White Bouncy Castle created in 1997.
For more than thirty years the artist has been exploring new formats with his “choreographic objects” combining gestures and installations.
A playful and gigantic work, the White Bouncy Castle created by Dana Caspersen and William Forsythe plunges visitors into an immersive and random experience.
Animated by the experimental sound creation of composer Joel Ryan, their artistic collaboration illustrates the same desire to work around movement, gravity and speed.
In this intimate space of monochrome white, visitors of all generations are invited to fall, bounce to better feel their bodies and become actors in their own choreography.
