Origami For Life at Palais de Tokyo 2021
The Palais de Tokyo, the ENGIE Foundation, and the Belgian artist and designer Charles Kaisin are joining forces to create an immersive and artistic installation for the benefit of the Samu Social in Paris and invite the general public to participate remotely and to come and discover the work as soon as the art center reopens.
To participate in the collaborative and solidarity project, you make origami birds with family or friends. For each paper bird produced and collected, €1 will be paid by the ENGIE Foundation to support the Samu Social de Paris. It will help to support the disadvantaged, who are the most affected by the health crisis, during this winter season.
Thanks to the origami the artistic installation “Origami for Life” will be presented at the Palais de Tokyo in the form of an astonishing suspended forest in which the general public will be invited to stroll.
