Cinema Paradiso Louvre
A free and friendly cinema festival in the outdoor courtyard Carrée of Louvre. Convivial, free and open to all, Cinema Paradiso Louvre invites Parisians, tourists, moviegoers and curious to come and enjoy a program of cult movies. In this 2,800-seat open-air cinema, the public is invited to discover or rediscover the classics of the “7th Art”, films presented just 30 years ago, or topics that highlight honor the Louvre and its collections.
Every evening the spectators are able to enjoy in many animations: food court, dance lessons, petanque, ping-pong, etc.
Comfortably seated, spectators are able to immerse themselves in the magic of the cinema and go through the galleries of the museum with the flashlight in the company of Professor Robert Langdon (The Da Vinci Code), walk the ancient palace of the Kings of France guided by Queen Margot, or wake up the mummies under Cleopatra’s bursts of anger (Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra) …
