Steve McCurry. In search of elsewhere. Polka Gallery Paris
The exhibition at Polka Gallery Paris presents the work of American photographer and looks back on his greatest successes – some, like the portrait of the Afghan in green eyes with the status of icons, but also some unpublished images, all commented by the artist.
To accompany each image, Steve McCurry has written captions allowing visitors to dive in the privacy of the moment of shooting and better understand the photographer’s “quest for elsewhere”. Each photo has its story.
