Daniel Buren. Miles Greenberg. Reiffers Art Initiatives Paris
The collaboration between Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg under the auspices of Reiffers Art Initiatives in Paris is a must to experience.
This collaboration highlights an inter-generational dialogue. Buren, a major figure in contemporary art and conceptual practice; Greenberg, an emerging talent in performance and sculpture.
In 2025, Reiffers Art Initiatives has designated Daniel Buren as the mentor for its 5th edition of the mentorship programme.
Daniel Buren has created a new permanent in situ work on the façade of the building at 30 rue des Acacias, entitled “La Façade aux acacias”. The façade work uses Buren’s signature vertical stripes of 8.7 cm width, applied as a composition of large isosceles triangles and zig-zags across the façade.
The façade work transforms a Parisian architectural landmark into an artistic intervention, engaging public space and the viewer’s perception of the urban.
Miles Greenberg was born 1997 in Montréal (now, he is based between Paris and New York). He is known for immersive, large-scale environments, performance, body-sculptural work and 3D scanning of his body for sculpture.
