Hirayama Ikuo (1930-2009) in search of roots of Japanese culture influenced by Buddhism, expanded inspiration across time towards Silk Road where eastern and western cultures were interacted.
Campaigning for the preservation and restoration of the world’s cultural heritage, Hirayama Ikuo worked on the “Red Cross Spirit for Cultural Heritage”
