The world of Master Beksinski. Warsaw Philharmonic

Zdzisław Beksinski created his paintings in constant contact with music. Alfred Schnittke was among the composers most frequently mentioned by him. The idea of showing Beksinski’s paintings in an integral connection with music allows to experience emotional impressions. The concert consists of two parts. In the first one, we will hear Schnittke’s No. 2 string quartet. In the half-hour break you can see the original paintings of the painter from the Historical Museum in Sanok. In the second part of the concert, we will hear Schnittke’s Requiem in connection with the presentation of images closely related to the drama of music.
