Fame 2020. The international festival of films on the music
FAME 2020, the international festival of films on the music in Gaîté Lyrique, it is five days of screenings, meetings, performances, inspired by the slightly mad desire for a collective and musical experience.
What you can expect?
Film Sébastien Tellier / Madonna / PJ Harvey / Fela Kuti / Uffie / Barbara Carlotti / Aurora / John Carpenter / Lydia Lunch / R. Stevie Moore / Felix Kubin / Torb / No wave / Voguing…
Live Maud Geffray (Philip Glass) / Epsilove / College x Maethelvin / Cosmic Neman.
Olivier Forest and Benoît Hické: telling stories, telling the world through its beat, its pulsations and its jolts.
From the journeys of PJ Harvey, Aurora or Maud Geffray (for an unprecedented live performance around Philip Glass) to the dark eccentricities of R. Stevie Moore and Sébastien Tellier, from the meanders of Fela Kuti to the experiments of Felix Kubin or to the beginnings of Madonna, FAME nestles in all the spaces of the Gaîté Lyrique, the place of all artistic adventures, to offer an intense journey.
With numerous films (documentaries, fiction and animation) exclusively in French and worldwide, FAME 2020 presents a largely unprecedented program: around twenty films on music, which give pride of place to singular figures, electronic odyssey, cultures underground, not forgetting a program for families (FAME Kids).
